Welcome to Cologne's gay & lesbian swimteam

A very warm welcome to the website of 'rheinperlen', the swimteam of SC Janus Köln (Cologne, Germany).
We are a bunch of men and women who love swimming.
Some of us are experienced competitive swimmers. The majority just enjoys being in the pool,
improving technique and stamina, training once or twice a week.

All levels of ability are welcome, from can barely swim at all, to budding Olympians - having fun with the team is
priority. We organise a training camp once a year and participate in major tournaments like EuroGames, Gay Games
and further gay-lesbian swim competitions.

The translation of the whole website is still under construction.

Training times:
Wednesday, 21:00 - 22:00 (Agrippabad, City-Centre)
Friday, 18:45 - 19:45 (Nippesbad, Nippes) without coach
Friday, 19:45 - 21:00 (Nippesbad, Nippes) with coach

What does it cost?
If you want to regularly join our swim training, you have to become a member of SC Janus Cologne.
You can visit our training three times for free.

Am I good enough?
Everybody who is able to swim two lanes in a 25m pool can participate in our training.
Our coaches will put you in a lane with people of your level and give useful tips to improve your style.
Training programs will be adjusted to your personal abilities - or you just join the free training (without coach).
